When love comes back

When love comes back, I Know you're are scared and your heart is tired of being hurt. I know part of you is still hurting. When love comes back, I hope you let it in. When love finds you again, show it who you've been all this while, let it see you when you're a mess at 3 am. When love comes back, let it see all your cracks and dents. You see, sometimes God takes them away from you because they need to become people who can love you better. So when they come back, let them in slowly. When love comes back, know that you're worthy of being happy again. Know that this doesn't just happen often, when love comes back embrace it a little too tight. Sometimes when the people we love leave, they come back being better than the way they left. When love comes back for you, remember to recognize it, remember to accept it, to keep it back. When love comes back, remember to show you it your growth, what you learnt from pain and don't be scared when it holds you close. Sometimes you meet someone who feels like you've known them forever, someone who being vulnerable with feels safest and no matter how many times you separate, all roads lead you back to them. Because they felt like home, and no matter how many times you tried to get over them, you couldn't. And so when they come back, let them love you, let them in.
